Your Happy Place!
The Land Project is a community for everyone wanting to invest wisely, own land and enjoy nature and leave a lasting impact on the planet. While it is still possible, we invite you to join and acquire your own piece of land in Argentine Patagonia, Finnish Lapland or Wyoming, USA
The Land Project is a dream-come-true for everyone who wants to have a connection to nature. No matter where you live or work you can just close your eyes and imagine being in your very own piece of paradise.
Once you've travelled to your land and spent some time there you'll feel your connection to this wonderful place with all your senses.
In each Land Project preserve consists of plots (3 meters x 3 meters so 9 square meters or 96.9 square feet) of land in stunningly beautiful locations.
In Argentine Patagonia you'll find us on the edge of Lake Viedma in the Province of Santa Cruz.
In Finnish, Lapland our preserve is on the pristine island of Ketinsaari just north of the famous Levi ski area in Kittilä. It's perfectly located to view the Northern Lights in the winter and to hike and forage to your hearts content in the summer.
And in Cody, Wyoming we're a overlooking the Buffalo Bill Reservoir not too far off Majestic Road.
Of course, your land will be maintenance-free – nature takes care of that. You'll be preserving nature simply by owning your own plot and being a member of our community
For the price of dinner for two in Paris, you can buy your own land
You can buy small pieces of land from The Land Project. We have taken photos of each unique piece of land and we sell them at the price that allows almost everybody to become a land owner. The centre point of each lot has been marked with GPS coordinates, so you know exactly which is yours and you find it when you'll visit your unique piece of land. You can also find it on Google Earth or on What3Words.
The Land Project is something real and lasting. Something that is yours forever. Or it's something that makes your child learn something about nature and hopefully feel better being a bit closer to nature. Or it may be an everlasting gift for a person important to you.
You may wish to visit your own land as a base from which to go hiking, skiing, to spot wildlife, forage for fruit, berries or mushrooms or to just do nothing at all. Or build a structure with drift wood to hang out in with your kids. Or some of us just want to create connection to nature and experience the feeling of nature through photos from your own lot without visiting it. Or you may want an item (whatever you wish) to be placed on your land.
But whatever you do with your piece of land, remember to respect your piece of nature, and make the piece of land your peace of mind.
Why you should own land.
To become a land owner
It feels good to own a piece of this planet. You will have your own property that you can explore, a place to fulfill your own ideas.
Strengthen your connection with Nature
Owning your own peaceful piece of land gets you connected to nature in totally new level. During hectic life you can just close your eyes and make a mind trip to your own land.
To get all the benefits of anticipation
Looking forward to visiting new places just feels good! This is because you’re combating ‘hedonic adaptation’. It’s a human trait that means that pretty quickly you get used to your environment and need renewal, fresh ideas and new places. In Patagonia, Finland and Wyoming nature is unique, pure and exciting. You will remember for the rest of your life the first night you glamp or camp on your own land. And you can add to your own land area by buying more land from us or from other owners. This allows you to reflect your own ideas and create your own paradise on earth.
Giving back to the planet feels good
You can plant bushes or trees on your own land and experience them grow, get older and improve the quality of the land. Desertification is a challenge in this part of Patagonia and reforesting and planting helps reduce this. Many people plant a tree when they get married, have children or when something else big happens in their life. Trees grow slowly and in Patagonia after 10 years you can revisit your land and see how it’s evolved.
Enjoy the satisfaction of self-reliance
Every piece of land is its own wonderful ecosystem. It produces new vegetation, sustenance and live-giving possibilities each year. If you choose to grow and harvest the fruit of Calafate plant it is said that you are sure to return to Patagonia. In Finland, in the summer bilberries and all manner of edible mushrooms are abundant. In these wondrous places, with just a little instruction you can live off your land.
Give an everlasting legacy for your children, relatives and friends
Global population is ever-increasing and giving land as an everlasting legacy to your loved ones, that they might discover on a special occasion or after you are gone is a meaningful inheritance to remember you by.
Give a unique gift to your clients
If you work in travel and sell trips to Finland, Wyoming or Patagonia, then gifting land to your clients will add tremendous originality and value to the trips you sell – and give your clients an unforgettable connection to each place. Thanks to you, at cocktail parties your clients will now be able to tell their friends about the land they own in these dream-worthy places – that they travelled to with your company.
